About 2 days later we heard little cries in the chimney. Found out we had 4 little tiny babies that didn't even have all their eyes open! Paul was so worried about them freezing to death that he stayed up all night and kept turning on and off the fireplace to help keep them warm :) We had some help getting them out with a long poll and net :) He took them to animal shelter in hopes they would save them!
Then about a week later we heard a really BIG raccoon. The dad came to find his babes and wifey poo. He was a lot easier to catch since we didn't have to do trial and error on what works for trapping them. It took us about 30 minutes to catch him, and we watched him walk right into the trap :) We sent him up Butterfield Canyon to hopefully be reunited with his girl :)
