So lately we've been thinking we had been hearing raccoons in our attic. The first night we noticed them was because at 2am our dog Sadie started freaking out, and she never does that. She Paul was instantly in a panic, got up and started walking around the house with his gun (although not loaded so don't know what good it would have done :o) ) He heard what sounded like a grown adults footsteps in our attic and started getting really really nervous. He then heard a weird sound and figured it sounded as though it was a mating call or something. We decided to leave it alone, assuming it was probably just some animal that found it's way in through the chimney. Well we didn't hear much else from it for a long time so we sort of just forgot about it. Then a week or so ago we started hearing it moving around in the attic again, Paul figured it was probably just a raccoon, so we set up a trap but caught nothing. We still just kept wondering what was up there. Then just a couple nights ago we heard it moving around again so we ran to our kitchen window to see if we could see it and low and behold there was the cutest little raccoon I'd ever seen :) It's a shame they are so destructive to have around and carry so many dang diseases, I'd let him just live there. Now we are frantically trying to find way to catch the cute little bugger :) Any ideas??
